Alkaline battery as an indispensable product in daily life,its quality is directly related to people's health.A leakage phenomenon will lead to serious impact,so in the current high-speed automated production process,the rapid removal of defective batteries will reduce a lot of losses.This paper studies the link glue battery alkaline battery production line,aimed at some defects of battery glue in-depth inquiry,studies the key technology of the battery coating quality is proposed,based on a set of on-line defect detection system of alkaline battery coating machine vision.The detection system designed in this paper,the industrial control programmable logic controller as the main controller,to carry out the corresponding work,using the visual sensor as the image processing module,analysis and feature extraction of the cell spreading picture,the last judgment,the result will be displayed through the manmachine interface.The main controller to control the visual sensor to realize the online real-time detection of battery coating defects,the transformation of visual sensor analytic results for the mechanical motion elimination mechanism,which will eliminate substandard products from production line.In this paper,alkaline battery coating as the research object,the first image of the cell image,the color image into gray image for analysis,and then the image preprocessing,feature extraction of defects,finally,defect detection and defect pattern recognition.The related algorithms are studied,and the processing algorithm is compared,selected for filtering,the most suitable for the detection system of image segmentation gray scale transform algorithm.In order to be able to make the alkaline battery glue picture visual effect is better,the use of image grayscale,image enhancement,image filtering algorithm for preprocessing.Aiming at the defects in the processed image,a multi-level image detection algorithm is used to detect and identify defects.According to the requirements of the actual detection conditions of alkaline battery production and to meet the defects of the overall structure of the on-line defect detection system in the design of battery glue coating machine the original hardware platform,this paper introduces the design of hardware and software modules of the system.In order to verify that the system designed in this paper can be tested quickly and stably,it can be debugged in off-line state.Through experimental verification,battery coating defect detection algorithm designed in this paper to identify the defects of the high rate battery coating and high accuracy,which can meet the requirements of the proposed detection method of this system is expected,and the proposed detection method is effective and feasible.The detection system is applied to the actual battery production line.
