The fourth generation of mobile communication technology(4G)has being full deployment of today's society,which is known as the long term evolution(LTE).The emergence of LTE is mainly to deal with the explosive growth of data services,the popularity of multimedia services and a significant increase in the number of users.The main technologies of LTE includes: OFDM technology,SC-FDM technology,MIMO technology,link adaptation technology,etc.According to the 3GPP,the uplink of LTE use Single-carrier Frequency-Division Multiple Access(SC-FDM)technology.,the interference is mainly produced in cell-edges.The main purpose of power control is to reduce the inter-cell interference,improve the average throughput,and maintain reasonable edge rate.In this paper,we mainly studied the LTE uplink power control scheme,analyzed the 3GPP algorithm and the existing classic adaptive algorithms.According to the 3GPP standard,a system level simulation platform has been built.According to the design purpose of the adaptive power control algorithms,we studied the algorithm which based on parameter adjustment adaptive and algorithm which based on UE's location adaptive scheme.We simulated and summarized the difference between two algorithms,analyzed their disadvantages,at last we given the direction of improvement and lay a foundation for next chapter.In this paper,we proposed two new algorithms of LTE uplink power control based on intelligent optimization algorithm,which aiming at maximizing the average throughput while meeting the requirement of edge users.The system simulation results have shown that the two algorithms not only improved the performance of average throughput compared to conventional algorithm and algorithm2015,but also meet the requirement of edge users.
