The computation of target tracking by video surveillance is one of the most popular projects in computer field in recent years.This technology is of great value both in military applications and in civilian applications.With the progress of science and technology,the application and research of particle filter have got more and more attention.And in recent years,particle filter algorithm has been widely used in video surveillance,tracking the target to be tracked.Monitor the process of moving targets in video surveillance is very complex,which includes not only the dynamic change of the object,including the occlusion,merging and separation may occur between the moving target.Therefore,the purpose and significance of this research is aimed at application of particle filter algorithm,strengthen the tracking and necessary analysis of the emergence of mobile targets in the video,to solve the possible target in the process of moving the complicated situation,and then use the calculation method of good particle filter,thus realizing the moving target in the video is successful tracking and further tracking observation purpose.In this paper,the particle filter algorithm and the Mean shift algorithm are applied to the moving objects in the video.Finally,the tracking experiments of the two algorithms are compared.In the overall structure: first,this paper introduces several common target tracking algorithm,and the algorithm characteristics of the correlation analysis and description;second,this paper discusses the relevant theoretical framework and particle filtering and tracking algorithm for moving target using particle filter,and use specific video tracking experiments the particle filter tracking reliability of mobile object tracking in video;third,the Mean shift algorithm,and through experiments on tracking moving target with a video image,to found their characteristics of the two algorithms,to prepare for the follow-up work;fourth,based on the previous content on the sums up the core content of this paper is based on the particle filter algorithm and Mean shift algorithm on the basis of "video shift An algorithm for tracking and computing moving targets.This algorithm can effectively be on target tracking in occlusion occurred again after of the tracked target,to a certain extent on the moving targets in the event of occlusion easy to cause the loss of tracking phenomenon to complement,while the algorithm is also able to identify moving targets is likely to happen in the fastest time thus,combined with the selective application of the algorithm,and then to deal with the moving target occlusion phenomenon,and can effectively reduce video noise and clutter interference,thus effectively improve the tracking of moving target video tracking system.
