With the development of mobile communication, both the number of terminals and the demand for traffic are increasing, thus aggravating the spectrum consumption, which causes the strain on resource and development limitation. As a short-range direct communication technology in the authorized frequency band,Device-to-Device(D2D)has the unique advantage in improving the communication performance, improving the spectrum utilization rate and extending the terminal use time, and it can be used as the key technology of the future 5G communication. At the same time, due to the reuse of spectrum,it will cause severe interference.if unreasonable, the allocation of spectrum even leads to communication outage,so it is essential to propose a reasonable resource sharing scheme.First of all, this paper introduces the background, basic concepts and key technologies of D2 D,and analyses the application scenarios and advantages of D2 D under the development of future communication.Secondly, according to the actual application scenarios, the paper divides communication modes into unicast and multicast, and studies the reuse of uplink spectrum resource in order to take advantage of the D2 D technology and improve cellular communication performance. In the unicast communication mode, according to the number of cellular and D2 D users, the communication scenery is divided into two cases: the base station load is small and large. The characteristic of the former case is that the spectrum resource is sufficient, aiming to improve the Qos and meeting the individual needs of users. To achieve the goal of maximizing the throughput, the paper proposes a minimum number of matches algorithm about resource allocation with a priority. The characteristic of the latter case is that the spectrum resource is limited, aiming to meeting the users' basic communication and maximizing the number of D2 D users of effective communications, the paper proposes a joint resource allocation and power control optimization algorithm based on graph theory and convex optimization theory. In the multicast communication mode, according to whether the relays are determined or not,the paper divides communication scenery into data sharing and command scheduling. When base station sends a large number of the same information to the users in the area, the emphasis is on the selection of the relay, and the relay selection scheme based on the area is proposed. When dealing with the hot events, our emphasis is on the command scheduling and communication time maintain since the relay has been determined at that moment. Then we propose theresource allocation algorithm based on the best bipartite graph matching. Finally, the simulation results show that the proposed scheme is suitable for the application scenarios, and meets the required performance indexes with different algorithms. It has better performance in terms of cell throughput, system fairness, user access rate and terminal battery life. And it is easy to achieve with a low complexity.
