2D bar code technology is a new development direction and research hot spot of bar code technology, which is a collection of information encoding, information transmission, image processing and data encryption technology in an integrated technology. With the development of information globalization, the demand for 2-dimention bar code technology is gradually inoreasing, especially need to represent a greater volume of information in a limited area. Based on this situation, color QR code emerges.Accordieg to GB/T 18284-2000, this paper analyzed and researched the encoding and decoding principle of QR code, RS error correcting code,image processing in decoding, and then proposed the design idea of color QR code. Used the algorithm of transforming the Unicode to UTF-8 and RS error correcting code to encode colors in white modules, which reduced the comple.xity of encoding process, increased the information capacity of QR code.Used the weighted average method and K-means clustering algorithm to process the color QR code image, then called ZXing source decoding li'brary to realize the correct recognition of the color QR code.Based on the. above research,set up the encoding and decoding system of color OR code based on MFC in Microsoft Visual studio 2015.Tests had shown that this system realized the encoding and decoding process for numerical characters, alphanumeric characters, Chinese characters and their mixed model,increased the information capacity of QR code at the same time.This paper realized the encoding and decoding process of QR code based on PC,completed the desired research purpose.
