In recent years,finger vein recognition as a new biometrics,has become a hot research topic.The wide application of finger vein recognition depends on the study of new finger vein recognition system.The cloud sever is efficiency and reliable in data storage and processing.Thus,a cloud-based finger vein identification system is designed to improve the recognition efficiency in this thesis.The system can achieve data sharing and network management of information.The main works of this thesis are as follows:First,to minimize the acquisition device size,the embedded terminal is constructed by ARM processor and embedded Linux operating system.The finger vein images are automatically collected and transmitted to the cloud server by the embedded terminal.Second,the cloud server environment is built.The server software executing on the cloud server environment is developed to support multiple terminals access.Then,the cloud sever process the data uploaded by terminal using recognition program.The processing results are returned to the terminal.Finally,a finger vein data management system based on B/S(Browser/Server)architecture is designed to remotely manage the information.The cloud-based finger vein recognition system is tested.The experimental results show that the system can achieve identification fast and stably.The advantages of the system includes:(1)Data collection and storage are separated to ensure data security.(2)Data can be shared.The information of users registered in the cloud can be identified by embedded terminal.(3)The information of users can be managed through network.
