Radio frequency identification is a non-contact automatic identification technology which uses wireless communication.RFID technology can carry out high-speed moving target identification and multi-target recognition at the same time.It is widely used in manufacturing, transportation, logistics, supply chain and other fields, and has great potential in applications. As a fast,real-time,accurate information acquisition and information identification technology,RFID is considered to be the most promising recognition technology in the 21 st century. With the rapid development of cloud computing and the wide deployment of Internet of things,a large number of objects access to the Internet through RFID technology, the requirements of the calculation and searching capabilities of the back-end database in RFID system increase continuously, which leads to a high maintenance cost.Hence the traditional RFID system is unable to meet the application requirements. While the RFID system based on cloud computing with the method of rent on-demand can save the enterprise spending, reduce the cost of system deployment and maintenance, meet to the needs of small and medium-sized enterprise better, therefore it attracts more concerns. However, the problems of security and privacy in cloud based RFID system are very serious, not only the security privacy problems still exist in the traditional RFID system, but also some new problems are introduced, for example, the reader itself can move, the link between reader and cloud database is no longer safe, the cloud service provider is not credible so that the user data stored in cloud database must be encrypted to prevent information leakage, which limits the data processing capability of cloud database. In view of the above problems,in this thesis the cloud based low-cost RFID authentication technology is studied. The obtaining results are as follows:Firstly,a cloud based low-cost RFID public key authentication protocol is proposed. The protocol is designed based on NTRU algorithm which can reduce the cost of the system certification and realize the mutual authentication between tag, reader and cloud database. The proposed protocol satisfies authentication, confidentiality, untraceability, denial of service attack resistance, desynchronization attack resistance, anti fake attacks and other security features. The formal analysis with BAN logic and the security verification tool AVISPA show that the designed protocol is secure.Secondly,in view of the NTRU algorithm and the low cost requirement, the resource consumption when the protocol is implemented on a tag is analyzed.A form of expression of working key random polynomial in star multiplication of NTRU algorithm is improved, and the hardware performance of the improved NTRU algorithm is analyzed. The result shows that the protocol meets the requirements of low cost, and it is feasible in hardware implementation.Compared with the existing similar authentication schemes, this scheme has obvious advantages in security, deployment cost,real-time authentication and tag implementation complexity.
