Spectral imaging technology which combines imaging techniques with spectral techniques captures the spectral features of the target while detecting the spatial features of the target,so that it can be used to accurately classify and identify the features and extract the feature information.Spectral imaging has been widely adopted in medical, science and military applications.A general dilemma of the current spectral imaging technique is the resolution.Since the task is to capture the 3D spectral cube via 2D,even 1D sensors.Current spectral imaging techniques sacrifices the spatial or temporal resolution for the spectral resolution. The development of compressed sensing(CS)theory provides a new way for this dilema,Duke University researchers had proposed a new method of calculating spectral imaging named coding aperture snapshot spectral imaging(CASSI).Instead of capture the 3D cube temporally or spatially,CASSI captures the CS measurements via coding aperture and dispersion devices. The 3D spectral cube is reconstructed by the captured measurements. There are two drawbacks of the CASSI system.Firstly, since the 3D scene is compressed into 2D measurments,it is intractable to restore the high frequency components of the scene, such as the fine textures.Secondly, due to the coding aperture, half of the energy has to be wasted. To overcome the drawbacks,we propose a all-pass single template complementary sampling CASSI system. Our idea is to embeds an additional channel to capture the information which has to be blocked by the coding aperture of CASSI.The coding aperture of CASSI is replaced by a half reflection template. Both the cast and reflection light are captured respectively. In this way,all the energy and information can be ultilized to restore the 3D spectral cube, and more importantly, the measurements can be doubled than traditional CASSI system.Experimental results show that the multispectral imaging method proposed in this paper can effectively improve the light utilization and obtain higher spectral image reconstruction quality.
