The space registration has become an important research focus in radar data processing. Especially in the case of variable practical environment, the existence of systematic error seriously influences the accuracy of the registration results.Therefore, it becomes the key to improve the accuracy of the registration results. In this thesis, some research work has been carried out, including the following aspects:(1)Aimed at the low convergence rate and unstable convergence performance of the generalized least squares algorithm on WGS-84 (World Geodetic System-84)coordinate, this algorithm is modified. The modified algorithm takes convergence steps as weighting factor for measurement accuracy of the generalized least squares algorithm, making measurement accuracy vary with the changes of steps. Therefore,the algorithm achieves the decrease of the convergence steps and the advance of the stability after convergence. What's more, the performance of target tracking and positioning are improved. Simulation results show that modified generalized least squares algorithm is superior to generalized least squares algorithm, verifying the feasibility of the modified algorithm.(2)In order to solve the problem of location inaccuracy caused by abnormal error registration, a constrained total least squares algorithm is modified. By building a nonlinear function relationship between step size and steps, algorithm step size is larger in initial stage and smaller during steady state. So this modified algorithm can achieve faster convergence rate and smaller steady-state imbalance noise at the same time. This algorithm reduces the convergence steps and improves the stability after convergence. Therefore, the impact of abnormal error registration on location result is reduced. Meanwhile, this algorithm also makes location result more accurate.Theoretical derivation and simulation results show that variable step-size constrained total least squares algorithm is superior to constrained total least squares algorithm.Simulation results also verify the feasibility of variable step-size constrained total least squares algorithm.(3)The software development process of multi-radar space registration method by MFC software is introduced. Firstly, the parameters of multi-radar space registration are established by the control in MFC. Secondly, C++ program is called by the button control in MFC. Thirdly, it is compiled and debugged. Finally, the radar error registration curve is displayed by TeeChart, thus completing the software development of multi-radar space registration method.
