Graphene was first prepared in 2004,and it has been widely studied and applied for its excellent physical properties.This metamaterial has some important properties in Electronics.Graphene has a high electron mobility characteristics.Its electrical conductivity can be controlled by the external bias voltage.And graphene support surface plasmon polariton characteristics.According to the characteristics of graphene materials,this paper has studied and designed terahertz antenna based on graphene.In this paper,the characteristic of graphene has been briefly introduced.And the significance of the research on the design of the graphene is given.The electrical conductivity theoretical formula of graphene is given.The technical research results of the surface plasma polariton are also given.Then,the graphene antenna is simulated and the performance of the antenna is evaluated in this paper.At last,a graphene reflectarray antenna with the surface impedance characteristic of graphene is designed and simulated.In this paper,the Drude formula for the conductivity of graphene is calculated.The simulation model of graphene is established by using electromagnetic simulation software.Based on the graphene simulation model,a graphene dipole antenna is designed and the simulation results is given.The simulation results show that terahertz antenna based on graphene has the characteristics of small size,voltage control and so on.The problem of low radiation gain is also present in the graphene antenna.The surface plasmon characteristics of graphene is studied.The structure model of the wave propagation in the surface of graphene was designed and simulated.The wave propagation properties of graphene in the terahertz frequency range are proved.In this paper,a graphene reflectarray antenna is designed.Method for connecting the piezoelectric wire with the graphene patch realizes the control of reflected phase.The graphene reflectarray antenna has the advantages of small size and controllable reflective beam.Through the study of the graphene reflectarray antenna,the method of graphene materials used in antenna design is obtained.And the problems in the present study are summarized.
