In LTE-Advanced, wireless relays are deployed in the area with poor coverage to amplify transmit and receive signals, strength coverage of wireless network, and improve system capacity. With the rapid development of Internet applications, however, the increase of multimedia services especially video services leads to the explosive growth of data traffic. It makes that the existing network architecture and communication mode still cannot meet user demands. Thus, it calls for various new architectural design, which integrates sophisticated techniques, in order to enhance network capacity and make full use of network resourse, thereby satisfying the needs of large volume video services.Therefore, this paper mainly emphasizes on analyzing transimission demands of real-time video services and non-real-time video services,introducing novel wireless relay network architectures, and optimizing the resource allocation methods and data transmission methods, thereby improving network performance and ensuring Quality of Service (QoS). In the research of non-real-time video transmission, the transmission method proposed in this paper alleviates system capacity bottlenecks of non-real-time video transmission. Further, this paper optimizes the resource ratio of caching, aiming at improving the system throughput. As for real-time video transmission, this paper proposes D2D clustering relay network architecture and optimizes the related clustering method, which improves the resource utilization, decreases the complexity, and reduces the energy consumption of all mobile terminals.In a word, this paper concentrates on the resource optimization methods in novel wireless relay networks for different video services. It deals with a lot of problems in existing researches, such as unconsidered factors, non-optimal network performance, high complexity, and so on.Simulation results verify that the methods proposed can improve the network performance while ensuring QoS.
