Nowadays, the requirement for a wider transmission bandwidth is more stringent due to the high-speed development of the network.high-speed optical communication network in a new generation of communication transmission system has broad application prospects and rapid development trend. With the 100G optical network research and application, we have a higher demand for the transmission signal modulation mode which can optimize the band utilization, transmission rate, extinction ratio and other parameters. High-order and a variety of modulation modes coexist for a new generation of high-speed optical communication network modulation mode requirements. In order to obtain a better modulation signal, the bias voltage for the modulator is critical. It is of practical value and significance to study the stabilization control technique of bias voltage of IQ light modulator which can realize mainstream high-order modulation.In this paper, we focus on studying the auto-bias control technique for the IQ modulator. All kinds of auto-bias control techniques based on different principles and several practical feedback optimization algorithms are studied. Two auto-bias control techniques are improved with a better feedback stabilization. The improved performance of two improved auto-bias control techniques is realized and the simulation experiment have shown it. The main work and innovation of this paper are as follows:1 .In this paper, after studying and analyzing a large number of bias stabilization control schemes of the IQ light modulator, we deeply understand the principle and implementation process of each method,and divide the different technical schemes into three categories according to their essence. : Bias-point stabilization control technology based on power monitoring, bias-point stabilization control based on disturbance signal, and bias-point stabilization control based on phase monitoring. The merits and demerits of each method are explained and compared in each class. The existing bias stabilization control technique of the IQ light modulator is clearly summarized and sorted out.2.1n this paper, three kinds of resetting algorithms are studied, namely hill-climbing algorithm, particle swarm optimization algorithm and improved particle swarm optimization algorithm. The author found that the bias of the optical modulator in the literature, the stability of the bias in the literature has not been in the same experimental program for the use of different reset algorithm for comparison, but the reset algorithm is likely to affect the performance of the overall technical program is an important indicator. Therefore, this paper studies three algorithms with better performance, and studies its principle and applies it to the experiment. The experimental results show that the high quality drift reset algorithm can improve the overall performance of the solution.3.After the analysis of all kinds of IQ bias point stability control technology, the bias-point stabilization control technology based on phase monitoring and the unsymmetrical bias point stability control technology based on disturbance are selected for simulation experiment.Technology is relative to other technical performance is better, to achieve a simpler technology. We use the offset drift reset algorithm we studied in the original technical scheme, and the experimental results show that we have successfully optimized the above two technical schemes through the improvement of the algorithm?...
