With the rapid development of Internet business,the requirements of the application layer produce an explosive growth.There are many kinds of network requirements that users need.The traditional Internet mode has been unable to meet development of the future network.That is rigidity problem of the Internet.Network virtualization technology is a kind of effective means to solve the rigidity problem of the current Internet.Through the network virtualization technology,the network service providers can provide users with customizable and diversification of end-to-end service,to meet the diverse requirements of application layer.In this paper,the application layer requirements are the virtual network requests.In the network virtualization environment,application layer users propose virtual network requests to the service provider.Service provider leases network resources from infrastructure providers to build a virtual network which meets the requirements of the user.Infrastructure provider is responsible to manage and operate its underlying physical network.Virtual network embedding is the allocation of network resources,which is an important content of network virtualization.In the network virtualization environment,multiple virtual networks can coexist on the same underlying physical network.The constraint conditions of the virtual network resource allocation involve the virtual network,topology,location of resources and other constraints.There are many kinds of virtual network requirements.Some virtual networks have dynamic network requirements.Some virtual networks need to be embedded in multiple physical networks.According to different types of virtual network requests,using different virtual network resource allocation methods to effectively allocate the network resource to the virtual networks.The purpose of this paper is to study virtual network resource allocation method,based on the characteristics of virtual network requirements.In this paper,the main research contents include:(1)To resolve the problem that embedding virtual network across multiple physical network,the paper propose a kind of multi-domain virtual network embedding(MVNE)method.MVNE aims to embed a virtual network(VN)across multiple physical domains while minimizing the embedding cost.The simulation results show that our proposal can increase the efficiency of VN partitioning and decrease the embedding cost of MVNE.(2)In network virtualization environment,the physical resource of a substrate network is limited and the resource requirements of a virtual network may change over its life time.Therefore,the paper provides a prediction-based resource management method to increase the resource utilization of the substrate network while ensuring the dynamic requirements of the virtual networks.In the proposed method,the prediction algorithm is based on the double exponential smoothing(DES).The simulation results show that our approach can increase the utilization of the physical resource and improve the virtual network acceptance ratio while ensuring the requirement of the virtual networks.
