With the rapid rise and development of Internet of Things in recent years, people's demand for location-based services are growing,especially in the complex indoor environment. In plenty of existing indoor positioning technologies, the technology based on WIFI has been widely concerned by the scientific research community and the corporate world due to its low cost and broad prospects for development. However,the situation that the technology based on WIFI, especially the network side positioning technology, cannot meet the requirement of the position precision lead to the slow development of its application.First, this thesis parses the received signals from a lot of access points in the backend server and makes the simple statistics analysis of data by the top1 method. Secondly, position calculation of the test target is made by the method that combines the data of the received signals with the spatial location information of access points. And in order to satisfy the demand of real-time positioning, this part integrates into the distributed real-time computation system-Storm. At the same time, this thesis carries out respectively the relevant experiments that determine the mathematical model of signal strength and the space distance and compare the least squares algorithm with the weighted centroid localization algorithm and optimizes the result of localization. Finally,this thesis combines the location results with area of interest (AOI)through an incredible algorithm and the ray method that locates the links between point and polygon and judges the positional relation between the test target and the self-defined AOI. What's more, this thesis uses the Spring MVC technology to code the interface of management system of AOI and implements many functions such as the AOI information management function.This thesis mainly discusses the indoor localization algorithm used distance measurement based on received signal strength indication and use the Java programming technology to accomplish the system designed modularly according to the process that can collect and analyze the position data. In addition, the message queue system Kafka as message middleware is used to transfer the data in the modular units. At last, this thesis completes the coding of a set of services from the data source to the indoor location calculation to the application of positioning results.
