Research On TD-LTE Base Station Carrying Scheme Based On PON Network

With the fast development of mobile internet business and the mature of the LTE technology,LTE has been used in commercial area in large scale.We have already issued 4G license in our nation,and each telecom operator has already carried on the net construction of LTE network in large scale.In LTE network,base station post back network is an essential part of mobile network.The technical selection,construction scale and operation maintenance of base station post back network are related to the construction cost,business quality and operation and maintenance efficiency of mobile network.In the construction of the current 3G network and LTE network,technologies like IP RAN and PTN are usually adopted.These technologies are capable of providing large bandwidth,high QoS assurance and thorough OAM,which will perfectly meet the requirement of network post back of 3G and LTE network.During the era of LTE,in order to meet the deployment requirements of different application scenarios and overcome the shortcoming of weak coverage of high frequency,we need to take into consideration of not only macro cellular base station,but also introduce diversified small base stations which meet deployment requirements of different application scenarios,including small base stations,distributed base station,WLAN and so on.In the future of LTE network,small base stations will also become a mainstream application.The power of small base stations is 100m W?2W,with rich forms,including micre,pico,femto and so on,which is appropriate to cover those areas where the coverage is empty or the business flow requirement is high.According the latest research on this trend by Infonetics,to the year of 2016,the proportion of network business flow dealt with by macro base station will be reduced from the present 90%above to 58%,while the proportion of flow bearing of small base stations(including indoor and outdoor small base stations)will reach 24%.Furthermore,according to the prediction of Infonetics,to the year of 2016,the quantity of global small base stations will be over 3 million.What can be predicted is that in three to five years,the amount of small base stations in the mobile network will encounter growth spurt,and will become the key point of network construction investment of mobile operators in the future.PON,with its advantage of low cost and wide coverage,is regarded as the mainstream technology of LTE small base station post back.In this paper,the technical requirement of LTE small base station post back business and technical advantage of PON bearing small base station post back business are studied,and the key technology and network solution of PON bearing small base station post back business is analyzed.
