In recent years,fine particulate matter has attracted more and more attention due to its adverse impact on our environment.Therefore,the monitoring work has been carried out in most cities of china.At present,the particle sensor has been paid more attention because it is extremely cheap and portable.However,it also has some disadvantages as a new emerging monitoring data.In this paper,the measurement data of particle sensor and standard monitor are contrastly analyzed from January 2016 to the present in Chinese Research Academy of Environmental Sciences.It is analyzed that the accuracy of particle sensor measurement data under different environmental conditions and its application in different areas.1.The consistency and stability of the particle sensor were studied indoors.The results showed that the consistency of the different particle sensor has some discrepancy.Different brands of particle sensor was different,the correlation coefficient of the 3 brands was B>A>C.respectively.Obviously,the correlation coefficient of B brand was the best.To compare the stability of the 3 brands,it was found that the standard deviation value of the B brand was the biggest by calculating the standard deviation,which suggested that the stability of B brand was the worst in the 3 brands.2.In order to investigate the performance of light scattering and beta-attenuation-light scattering method,Inter-comparison between Light Scattering Method and Beta-attenuation-light scattering combined method of particulate matter on-line monitoring equipment for PM10 and PM2.5 was conducted from February 2016 to April 2016 in Chinese Research Academy of Environmental Sciences,based on beta-attenuation method(BAM)as the standard.The results showed that PM 10 concentration measured by MP-CPM has good correlation with and BAM,the correlation coefficient is 0.92 and the average deviation is 0.04%,However,the correlation coefficient on the measurement of PM2.5 is only 0.69.PM2.5 measured by light scattering sensor has good correlation with BAM,the correlation coefficient is 0.85 and the average deviation is 11.24%,but PM10 is far lower than the BAM results,the average deviatiosn is-44.64%.Among all the possible factors affecting the results of Light Scattering Method,the particle size and chemical components were proved to be the dominated ones.3.It was important to study the impacts of relative humidity on the measurement results of the particle sensor.The data from June to September 2016 are used to analyze the deviation of the measurement results of the particle sensor and the standard monitor under high humidity conditions.It can be found that(1)during the observation period,the measured value of light scattering method 1 was higher than that of BAM.The value measured by light scattering method 2 was consistent with that measured by BAM,and the deviation was smaller.The result that it is very important to improve the accuracy of the measurement of particle sensor after the relative humidity is modified by physical method.The consistence of the value measured by the light scattering method 1 and the BAM had been increased since relative humidity was corrected by the statistical method,the correlation between the light scattering method 2 and the BAM was hardly changed,but the deviation is obviously reduced.(2)As was in previous studies,when RH>60%,the particle sensor measurements were significantly higher.The accuracy of the measured values can be significantly improved by using physical and mathematical statistics to calibrate the particle sensor measurements.However,the effect of the combination of two methods on reducing influence of relative humidity on particle sensor was not obvious.4.It was found that the particle sensor can monitor the pollution events and identify the sources of pollution based on the analysis of the particle sensor data in Linyi and Shanghai.In Linyi,the 3 coarse particle pollution events and the 2 fine particle pollution events were found by the analysis of the particle sensor data in Linyi.The 90 sensors installed in Jiading District monitored three contamination processes in February and analyzed the source of them.
