Due to the convenience and continuous development of mobile terminals like mobile phone,the functions of mobile terminals has made great progress and attracted more and more consumers.Along with the accelerating improvement of people's consumption level,tourism has turned into a widespread recreation deeply favored by countless Chinese.The combination of mobile terminals like cellphone and tourism has further transformed the traveling ways and made self-service tourism a popular one.Taking the self-service tourist as the research object and on the methods of questionnaire and document surveys,this paper is a research on the use behavior of mobile terminal like mobile phone by examining the mobile use behaviors of self-service tourists and concluding their positive satisfaction and negative experiences mainly in the basis of Uses and Gratification Theory in communications and with the help of Need-hierarchy Theory,Risk Perceive Theory,TAM Model.Meanwhile,according to the unsatisfied experiences of mobile terminal uses,the paper will reveal the disadvantages of using mobile terminals and probe into how to deal with these disadvantages to improve the mobile terminal use in the process of traveling of self-service tourists.The survey findings show the self-service tourists using mobile terminals to check the related information both before and during traveling have bigger percentage than others.To self-service tourists,these mobile terminals make tourism more convenient,but,to some extent,they also affect their trips for some skill limitations.Besides,the mobile terminal use behaviors of self-service tourists have some differences according to the statistical characteristic of demography.By analyzing the mobile use behaviors of self-service tourists in the process of traveling,the paper aims at reveling the positiveness and negativeness of mobile terminals and further improving the mobile terminal using effect.It will have significant guidance for how to make full use of mobile terminals to improve the self-service traveling experience.
