Design And Implementation Of Network Security Situation Awareness Visual Platform

Conventional network security solutions normally realize prevention and control functions by assembling the firewall, intrusion detection system(IDS), intrusion prevention system(IPS), filtering system,vulnerability detection system and other network monitoring equipment.Nevertheless, these devices normally function independently in the network without sharing information with each other, so threatening and alarming information cannot be precisely offered when dealing with sudden network attack incidents.Network security situation awareness technology is a technology that combines data generated by network monitoring equipment,performs analysis by applying statistics, data mining and other relative techniques, and offers network security situation evaluation and risk forecast. However, the conventional security situation awareness system faces the problem of "giving priority to perception instead of presentation.” After the security data is analyzed, no outstanding visual solution is found to present the information, which has greatly influenced application effects of the situation awareness system.Starting from the above problem, the paper firstly analyzes China's network security status and development of network security situations,and elaborates key technologies and the typical frame of network security situation awareness. Then, the paper emphatically researches and analyzes data visualization technology in details, and analyzes feasibility and necessity of applying the visualization technology in security situation awareness. Meanwhile, the paper also discusses the WEB technical framework and WEB security. Then, the paper performs a requirements analysis, high-level design and detailed design on the security situation awareness visual platform, and defines five major functional modules of the platform, as well as the interactive mode of various modules; later, by using SSH framework and other common WEB development techniques, as well as combining visual components,like ECharts and Twaver, the paper finally completes a security situation awareness visual platform with good visual effects. After trial run of the system, the above-mentioned visual platform proves to have a good presentation and interaction effects and relatively good assistance effects on corporate security situation awareness.
