With the development of wireless communication technology and the increasing demand for information communication,researchers put forward higher requirements on the capacity,speed and frequency spectrum of mobile network on the basis of 4G network.As one of the critical technologies in the field of 5G communication,D2D(Device to Device)has been widely studied.Unicast,broadcast,multicast and D2D multi-hop communication are the main communication modes of D2D technology.The first three communication modes have been widely studied recently.However,there is almost no research on D2D multi-hop communication mode.Routing is the key issue in D2D multi-hop communication.In this thesis,the routing of D2D multi-hop communication mode in 5G is studied.Based on the idea of the distributed routing technology of Ad hoc networks and combining with the characteristics of the centralized control of cellular networks,A Clustering Routing Protocol Based on Communication Range and Mobility for 5G D2D(CRPRM)is proposed.The proposed protocol is simulated and tested in the vehicular Ad hoc network(VANET)scenarios.The main work of this thesis is listed as below:1.The technical principle of D2D technology and typical routing technologies in Ad hoc network are studied.The advantages of D2D technology and advantages and disadvantages as well as the suitable scenarios of various routing techniques in Ad hoc network are summarized.2.Research status and routing problems of D2D technology are analyzed and the necessity and feasibility of applying D2D technology to VANET are explored..3.A cluster-based D2D routing protocol is proposed,which consists of two processes:clustering and routing.The routing protocol combines the characteristics of the distributed communication in Ad hoc networks and the centralized management in cellular networks.Considering the communication range and mobility of nodes,the clustering algorithm of the routing protocol is suitable for the vehicle network scenarios and can effectively expand the scenarios and coverage of 5G network.4.Combined with the road traffic simulation tool SUMO(Simulation of Urban Mobility),the cluster-based D2D routing protocol based on the communication range and mobility of nodes proposed in the thesis is simulated and validated in NS3.The simulation results show that the routing protocol proposed in the thesis has higher stability and better routing performance.
