With the development of the service industry and the increase of labor costs,lots of self-service terminals have been applied in different industries for high-quality internet services.The traditional self-service terminal was designed to implement specific function,and the function of the traditional terminal is not complex.Due to the low-level networks and private protocols were used in the traditional self-service terminal,the traditional terminal can not adapt to new needs.The new self-service terminal has to meet requirements of service composition and real-time.Meanwhile,a powerful self-service terminal platform is the basis of running these new terminals.So,it has theoretical significance and application values for realizating a self-service terminal platform which can provide service composition and real-time control.In view of the above background and problems,a self-service terminal operation framework built on the improved 3-Tiers model was proposed.And in this framework,a service composition model based on Enhance-Event-Condition-Action(E-ECA)rules was designed to combine different self-service terminal services.Meanwhile,the socket communication technology was studied to promote the compatibility of terminal’s heterogeneous network.Then,the online self-service printing terminal was used as a experimental terminal.An experimental platform was built by software development and hardware designing,which was applied for performance analysis of the server and terminal.The results indicate that the system is stable and responsive while the terminal was connected,which can combine different services of terminal orderly and lay the foundation for the diversification application of the self-service terminal.Based on the improved 3-Tiers model and E-ECA service composition model,the barrier of tranditional terminal system will be broken by the new self-service terminal system.The function of combining service was achieved by the new framework,and when the terminal is connected,the system shows a superior perfoemance in the stability.The creation of this new framework has an important inspiration and reference for promte the self-service system in other industry. |
