Locations of sensor nodes is one of the most important technologies in the wireless sensor networks,which has been appealed significant attention.In the beacon-based localization methods,some beacons may be unreliable,such as drifted beacons,malicious beacons,bogus beacons made by worm-hole attack and so on.The core of this paper is to identify the unreliable beacons to improve localization accuracy of WSN,which is defined as sensor location verification.Solving this problem is significant to realize reliable localization.Focusing on the problem of sensor location verification,a model of sensor location verification based on reputation model is proposed in this paper.Firstly,this model analyzes how drifted beacons,malicious beacons and bogus beacons made by worm-hole attack influence the localization in WSN.Then the sensor location verification problem is described in formalized representation.Finally,based on range-based localization and range-free localization,a model of sensor location verification is proposed to solve the problem of unreliable beacons.The major contributions of this work include as follows:1.Reputation model is used in sensor location verification of WSN.A model of sensor location verification is proposed to solve the problem of unreliable beacons.2.A range-based sensor location verification scheme is proposed.The scheme construct the reputation by using distances and communication topology between sensors,which is updated constantly to identify unreliable beacons.Experiments show that the detected rate of the scheme is more than 90%,which is suitable for beacon-sparse WSN and robust.3.For range-free location,we propose a beacons locations verification algorithm based on neighborhood-similarity,which utilizes similarity of the beacons' neighborhood in different time slot to recognize drifted beacons.Then,we propose a distributed and lightweight unreliable beacons verification algorithm based on trust-model to identify drifted beacons and malicious beacons.Experiment results show that our algorithms can recognize unreliable beacons with detection rate,which has batter environmental adaptability and robustness.4.To solve the wormhole attack problem in re-localization,a Trust-Model-based DV-Hop localization against wormhole attack is proposed.The simulation results shows that the proposed TMDV-Hop can efficiently reduce the effects of the wormhole attack on the DV-Hop re-localization without extra-hardware.Focusing on sensor location verification,a model is proposed in this paper.Three solutions are proposed from different perspectives to solve the problem,which achieve some results.
