At present, most of the existing information systems of electric power industry in China are mainly about the production and monitoring of power.Their use is limited to some fixed working places with private networks and computers. For those who need to work outdoor for equipment operation and maintenance, there is always lack of information technology support. At the same time, the existing navigation softwares lack effective geographic information in remote rural areas. There is only a little buildings and routes or nothing referenced on the map, so the workers can only find a destination by asking villagers and relying on the experience. Therefore, this paper proposes to develop an Android navigation software for the rural power system, in order to combine power equipment maintenance scenarios with Android LBS technology, to improve the efficiency of power equipment operation and maintenance. The first part of this paper is about the research of related technology and algorithm, mainly discusses the following two aspects: 1 Chapter Two is about the key techniques needed for the implementation of an Android Application, including the architecture of Android system, the usage of the four basic components and the working mechanism of Activity, multimedia data acquisition and processing technology, implementation and the internal principle of barcode scanning, various ways of data storage and transmission, several kinds of architecture patterns and their usage in Android development; 2. the third chapter mainly compared and analyzed different LBS development platforms and several classic shortest path algorithms, and focused on the usage of the GaoDe API as well as the main implementation and optimization of SPFA.The second part of the paper describes the details of the design and development process of the navigation software client, including the requirement analysis, module design, database schema and communication interface design, business logic, module implementation and function testing. After a long time of development and test repeatedly, the software obtains the expected result and satisfies the general business needs of the staff in the electric power bureau. Believe that it can improve those staff s work efficiency as expected.
