Currently,in the optical communication equipment market,there is still dominated by foreign core technology devices,it makes the domestic consume a lot of cost value in the research and development of optical communication,as well as the practical application,is not conducive to the rapid development of optical communication and China on a number of communication according to security for the long-term development of the construction.For the development of the domestic independent intellectual property rights of the core components and optical communication equipment has urgent demand,and long-term strategic significance.With the increasing speed of network communication,the requirement of optical fiber communication system is increasing.In optical fiber communication,it is well known that the polarization of light is one of the basic properties of the light.Polarized light has been widely used in many fields such as optical communication,optical sensing and so on.The quality of the polarized light has a direct impact on the performance of the system.In the optical communication,optical sensing and other systems,there are a large number of optical polarizing device,which can be controlled or maintained in the light of the polarization state of the signal according to the actual needs.In practice,due to the non ideal of the optical polarization device,the output of the polarized light is not capable of maintaining the desired polarization properties.Therefore,we usually use the polarization extinction ratio(PER)to measure the optical devices to maintain the ability of polarization state of light signal,and the polarization extinction ratio tester to measure than to immovable device or an optical system of the polarization extinction.With the development of society and technology,the requirements for the polarized light are higher and higher,and the requirement of the polarization extinction ratio is higher and higher.In addition to the important applications in the field of optical communication,polarization extinction ratio measurement in optical fiber sensing,optical polarizing device also has a wide application.Thanks to the development of optical fiber communication technology and optical fiber sensing technology,many optical communication devices have been widely used in the field of optical fiber sensing,such as,polarization maintaining fiber,fiber Bragg grating,and so on,that can realize the stress and temperature sensing,the production of current transformer,hydrophone,etc..Optical fiber sensing technology is widely used in the modern information society,it is the construction of things,smart city,and other technical basis,its important significance is self-evident.With the development of optical fiber sensing technology,and the improvement of people's needs,the optical fiber sensing system also has a higher demand on the high polarization extinction ratio of the optical polarization device and the high performance of the polarization extinction ratio.Therefore,in this paper,there will focus on the research and implementation of the polarization extinction ratio testing instrument based on domestic chip as a key research content.This paper firstly introduces the CAP system of domestic chip,and then the research on the selection of the chip to carry out the relevant performance testing and application research,and then build a platform based on this system architecture.Theoretical scheme of parameter measurement of polarization dependent.Finally,the realization of the measurement of polarization dependent parameters based on CAP system architecture is introduced.The main work and innovation of this paper mainly include the following aspects:1.The performance of the chip based on CAP architecture is tested,and the relevant test system is set up;2.The research and design of the PBSBC system based on the polarization extinction ratio measurement system;3.The hardware system of the polarization extinction ratio measurement based on the rotating prism is optimized,and the signal to noise ratio of the photoelectric signal is improved;4.The innovative design of the measurement module of the rotating prism is made,and the performance of the optical fiber optical signal is improved,and the stability of the rotating prism is improved;5.The data acquisition is based on the Kalman filtering algorithm,the data preprocessing,can effectively remove the noise of the signal.6.The interface of the acquisition instrument to expand the function of a variety of functions,such as network,serial port,etc,as well as remote acquisition measurement and other functions.
