Due to the accelerated pace of life and the rising cost of living,people are busy with working and social. They have no time to take care of the elderly, children and other people who need to be taken care of .With the aging problem aggravated, more and more elderly people need to be taken care of. The elderly lost, falls and other events will cause great trouble to the family. The news of children lost often appears on the Internet media. When pregnant women fall, no one take care of them in time, which causes themselves and the family huge losses. And the mentally retarded person's guardianship, guardians both need to develop their independent ability and need to cultivate their ability to be independent. Considering the situation, how to monitor the whereabouts of vulnerable effectively, and help them reduce the difficulty of rescue at critical time, which has important significance. In this context, the subject is raised.With the popularity of smart phones, more and more mobile applications appear in people's vision, not only has brought great convenience to life, but also has universal applicability. The development of location-based vulnerable groups on the phone monitoring software to monitor the whereabouts of vulnerable groups, guardians can help in the first time. Therefore, this topic gives the research and implementation of the vulnerable group positioning and monitoring system based on Android. The vulnerable groups refer to the elderly here, the children, the pregnant women, the mentally retarded people and others who need to be taken care of.According to the needs of vulnerable groups, the Android platform is chosen as the client platform for the vulnerable groups' positioning and monitoring based on the huge amount of Android users. The system is divided into the role of the guardian and the guardian, the guardian and the guardian in a certain way to establish a binding relationship, the guardian to obtain real-time access to the location of the guardian and historical path, and the guardian in case of to the emergency or fall and other dangerous situations can be active or passive way to send alarm information to the guardian, the guardian can rush to the side of the ward to help in the first time.In this paper, we focus on the research of inertial navigation-based indoor positioning technology, which is pedestrian-tracking algorithm,and proposes an improved step-by-step algorithm for the vulnerable group positioning and monitoring system, and designs and realizes the vulnerable group positioning and monitoring system based on Android.The main contents of this paper are as follows:1. This paper mainly introduces the key technology used in the monitoring system of the vulnerable groups based on the Android system,which is the key technology of the vulnerable group positioning and monitoring system. Firstly, the knowledge of Android mobile platform is introduced. Secondly, the test results of mobile acceleration sensor and direction sensor are given, and the feasibility of mobile sensor in vulnerable group location monitoring system is analyzed. Finally, we study the fall detection technology and positioning technology.2. In this paper, the inertial navigation based indoor positioning technology is researched. The indoor positioning technology based on inertial navigation is mainly studied. Besides, we analysis step number,step length and heading. The accelerometer-based step algorithm is mainly studied. And the algorithm of zero detection and peak detection is put forward. At last, the design and implementation of improved step counting algorithm are described in detail.3. The design and implementation of the vulnerable group positioning and monitoring system based on the demand analysis and the overall design, including design and implementation of the module of the vulnerable group locating and guarding system based on Android,including monitoring module, monitoring module, communication interface module. Finally, according to the design requirements, the test and conclusion of the system are given.
