CRAN architecture was proposed by China Mobile Research Institute to reduce the total cost of ownership in wireless network upgrade and maintenance.In this architecture,several traditional baseband units(BBU)are centralized into a dedicated equipment room as the baseband pool,which connects to remote radio heads(RRHs)through fiber.Adopting this wireless network architecture,the conventional tidal effect will be alleviated and the capacity of traditional edge users will be improved.Based on the characteristics of CRAN architecture,this thesis focuses on the research of resource management under CRAN architecture,and the main research topics of this thesis are summarized as follows:Firstly,the interference problems and their new characteristics are analyzed under CRAN architecture.With the research of traditional inter-cell interference indication technology,a new scheme is proposed to alleviate the interference in this wireless network model.In this scheme,user-triggered mechanism and network-selected method are employed to decrease the signaling overhead.Simulation results show that the throughput of edge users in CRAN cluster could be improved with the resource scheduling according to our interference indication scheme.Secondly,the wireless network-assisted Vehicle-to-Vehicle(V2V)communication technology is taken into account in this thesis,and this technology is being standardized in 3GPP(The 3rd Generation Partner Project)organization now.The network resource contention problem in Vehicular UE(User Equipment)side is studied under CRAN architecture,and a new method to schedule road safety service in Vehicular UE side with low latency is designed.With the new configuration of SR(Scheduling Request)information elements and optimized LCG(Logical Channel Group)in our scheme,road safety service could be scheduled with high priority and low latency.Thirdly,the characteristics of road safety information are studied,and a new method is provided which could be used to transmit road safety information between vehicular users directly with limited conditions under CRAN architecture.This new mothod could establish a connection link with low signaling overhead and meet the requirement of latency with the assistance of wireless network.Meanwhile,combined with the beamforming technology,this method also could be used to suppress the interference in network-assisted V2V communication under CRAN architecture.Lastly,the summary is drawn in the end of this thesis,in addition,several future follow-up plans and potential research directions are also shown.
