Pervasive computing is a hot research topic in recent years,its context aware technology uses the user's location information to provide users with a lot of personalized service,which called Location Based Service.With the application of scene changing and development,the traditional outdoor positioning technology has been unable to meet the actual needs,both academia and business community have to focus on the indoor positioning.Depending on whether the target participates in the positioning process,the indoor positioning is divided into active positioning which need for active participation and passive positioning which does not require the active involvement.This thesis will focus on the study of the latter.Firstly,this thesis compares the techniques,methods and algorithms which widely used in indoor positioning.In combination with the actual scene,this thesis chooses to use the technology of WiFi and method of fingerprint in the passive indoor localization.The thesis designs the algorithm by combining the traditional localization algorithm with machine learning.Based on the hardware and software development environment of the platform,the overall architecture is designed,and the difficulties and performance evaluation criteria of indoor localization are analyzed.Based on the above,the thesis designs and realizes the server side and the client side of the passive indoor positioning platform in detail.Focus on the acquisition,preprocessing and transmission of the location fingerprint these three key points.Through the comparison with other design schemes,the advantages of the server side and the client side designed in this thesis are highlighted.At the end of this thesis,by building passive indoor localization platform in the actual scene with the designed scheme,acquisition and preprocessing of fingerprint data and building fingerprint database and so on preparatory work on the offline phase,the real location effect is showed by the APP based on Android in the online phase.In a word,this thesis is based on the research background of passive indoor positioning,which aims to design and implement a set of passive indoor positioning system based on WiFi access points.The key work are the collection of fingerprint data,the construction and preprocessing of fingerprint database,the design of the algorithm and the display of client these four aspects.The platform is verified in the real scenario,the experimental result shows that the passive indoor platform designed and built in this thesis can meet the needs of the scene.
