Parameters estimation plays a role in the supervision and management of radio spectrum resources.To get automated parameters estimation with multi-band and multi-mode is a major problem in the future.How to achieve parameter estimation quickly and accurately in the environment of the coexistence of multiple communication system is a very worthy subject of study in the communication field.The research content about this paper comes from national major science and technology(No:2014X03001027).The issue study parameters estimation algorithm to support the system including LTE/TD-SCDMA/WCDMA/GSM and obtain detail parameters estimation method.Research on parameters estimation algorithm of radio frequency signal in Global System for Mobile Communication(GSM)is a very important subject in this thesis.The purpose of the subject is to manufacture precisely wireless parameters estimator in order to measure parameters in real time of base stations and wireless devices including carrier frequency,bandwidth and emission power.This instrument used to monitor and manage the base stations and wireless devices to develop and use with the rules.GSM as a common mobile signal,is the focus of the project to inspection and auditing.Despite research has been carried out for parameters estimation in GSM system.But existing algorithm has poor scalability to meet the requirements of blind parameters estimation and extraction under the multi-band and multi-mode standard.The objective of this subject is to get the universal blind estimation and monitoring algorithm of the mobile signal for using them to monitor and audit for the signal of mobile communication on the department of state radio regulatory,by studying the blind parameter estimation algorithm of GSM signal.In order to achieve the development of wireless spectrum sensing device with multi-band and multi-mode,we need to implement a scheme to estimate parameters with low complexity,high accuracy and extensibility on GSM.This paper focuses on the estimation of various parameters in GSM communication systems.This article mainly studies estimation algorithm of these three parameters.Firstly,this article analyzes in detail the basic principle of each estimation algorithm.According to the performance of each algorithm,the paper selects most suitable parameter estimation algorithm in the GSM.According to characteristics of GSM signal,this paper proposed improvement estimation algorithm about bandwidth and carrier frequency.For bandwidth estimation,combining power spectrum of the GSM signal,this paper presents a bandwidth estimation scheme based on curve fitting method.First,preprocess the received signal of GSM signal from two aspect of power spectrum estimation and power spectrum smoothing in order to increasing the resolution of the signal power spectrum and reducing the noise of the signal power spectrum.The power spectrum by preprocessing fit the curve to obtain bandwidth estimation.Curve fitting can eliminate the influence on tiny shaking of the power spectrum.This scheme can improve the performance of estimation compared to the original algorithm.Finally,because the existing carrier frequency estimation has shortcoming of low accuracy or difficult to project implementation.The paper use frequency mediacy method to estimate frequency roughly,then combined with two algorithm of the matched filtering and least squares method to estimate carrier frequency of signal more accuracy.The simulation results show that new algorithms have high accuracy and better stability rather than frequency mediacy method width different SNR at AWGN environment.
