In recent years, with the development of mobile communication technology and the popularity of intelligent terminals, users' demands for wireless networks are increasing, how to optimize indoor signal coverage has become a valuable issue. The deployment of Femto based on traditional networks is a reasonable solution. Therefore, how to improve the power efficiency of the network as well as reduce the distortion of video transmission in two-tiers Femto networks has been a thorny problem.Firstly, the problem of physical resource blocks allocation in Femto network is studied. Different from existing papers whose objectives are minimizing transmit power or maximizing the transmission rate, the objective of this paper is to maximize power efficiency with the constraints of power and transmission rate. In order to achieve this goal,this paper puts forward two kinds of message passing algorithms,BSMP algorithm and UPMP algorithm, both of them can effectively reduce the number of iterations in traditional message passing algorithm. The simulation results show that the BSMP algorithm can achieve the maximization of power efficiency with no consideration of user subscription levels, but when considering user subscription levels, UPMP algorithm can achieve the maximization of weighted power efficiency.Secondly, this paper studies the transmission of video streaming in Femto network for the purpose of minimizing the total distortions of the whole system. The user priority message passing algorithm is used to manage users' broadcast rates, not only minimizing the distortions of the whole system, verifying the convergence of the algorithm, but also taking the fairness into consideration. At the end, this paper reveals what density and distribution of users could improve the performance of the algorithm.This paper analyzes and studies the resource management algorithms based on message passing algorithm in Femto network, and verifies the rationality and validity of the improved algorithms.
