With the rise of the mobile internet industry,mobile communications network business has ushered in the explosive growth.Mobile operators have to provide consumers with faster and better services,while also facing the rapid increasing cost in network operating work.As the market moving forward,the mobile communication network technologies are rapidly evolving,from 2G,3G to LTE today.Mobile operators have to invest a lot of manpower and material resources for the construction of new network,while maintaining the old networks which still carry a lot of business.In this circumstances,each mobile network catains a plurality of modes,and a variety of mobile communication base stations coexist multiple bands,which adds to the cost of network operations.So mobile operators are thinking about how to reduce the complexity of mobile networks and maintain them automatically.Based on the LTE SON(Self Organizing Networks)self-configuring theory,first of all,we studied the scenarios of traditional PCI(Physical Cell Indentifier)allocation and proposed the general design of LTE PCI self-configuration mechanism.Then,we analyzed the LTE network operation and maintenance data to find out the confounding factors related to PCI,thus putting forward the evaluation method based on decision tree model of network interference.At the end of this paper,we implemented the LTE PCI self-configuration mechanism based on multi-objective genetic algorithm and described the key technology in detail,such as multi-objective winning,speeding up the convergence of the algorithm and design of genetic operator.Finally,we test the mechanism through network planning optimization platform.The test results show that the LTE network using the proposed self-configuration mechanism can not only improve the efficiency of deployment process,but also reduce the signal interference occurred in the operation process,confusion probability,and the burden of network operation and maintenance.
