"Internet +" era, the internet industry represented by internet finance has developed rapidly. At the same time, the potential security problems brought by network virtualization is increasingly serious. Real-name system become an effective means to control risk in internet. Network real-name system is generally based on the user's ID card information authentication. In many internet applications, such as online payment and cross-border logistics, real-name authentication is realized by the way the user uploads the photo of his/her ID card, and then the application extract the ID information out of the photo.The photos uploaded by users may have complicated backgrounds,as well as tilt and perspective distortions, which cause difficulties in information extraction.Therefore,it is necessary to locate the card area in the photo,and then do the information extraction. Based on the above background, this paper studies the locating technology on card photos under the natural scene, and carries on the information extraction and recognition to the normalized card image.The main work of this paper includes:1 A method of card location based on Hough transform is proposed. Based on theshape of the card, Hough line detection and Hough circle detection technology are used to achieve the locating of the card area, and haar face detection is used to verify the locating results.2 A method of card location based on local feature matching algorithm is proposed.Firstly, the paper extract a card template by holding the fixed prompt text on the card.Then, the paper use local feature matching algorithm to locate the card area. The locating results are verified by haar face detection.3 A program is designed to merge the two card locating method proposed above.By merging two kinds of locating method, the locating accuracy is further improved.4 A card information extraction method is proposed. Firstly, the card information is roughly segmented by using the prior knowledge of the relative position of the card information, and then this paper use the image binarization algorithm and projection method alternately, to realize the fine segmentation and binarization of the card information. On the other hand, this paper make full use of the prior knowledge of the card information to optimize the OCR engine, and modify the text recognition results.5 A card locating and information extraction system is designed and implement. It integrates the card locating technology and card information extraction technology,and adds Graphical User Interface and Database to realize the card locating and information extraction system with practical value.This paper do researches on card locating technology in card image and card information extraction technology, and then design an effective card locating and information extraction system, which provides technical solutions for card locating and information extraction in natural scenes images.
