In order to solve the increasingly significant traffic problems,the traffic management department has established a variety of intelligent transportation systems,including the signal control system.But due to various reasons,the established intelligent transportation systems are in charge of different traffic departments and operation departments.Information can't effectively be linked up between the systems.In order to solve the problem of information sharing and processing between systems,people put forward to the concept of intelligent traffic management and control integration platform(also called intelligent traffic management and control platform).In the intelligent traffic management and control platform,the signal control subsystem is responsible for the management and maintenance of basic data,and it also has the function of traffic signal lamp monitoring and switching timing,which is one of the most basic modules in the platform.At present,the international popular signal control system mainly is the SCOOT system and the SCATS system.These systems are designed according to the foreign traffic rules and regulations,and cannot be applied to the domestic transportation system very well.In addition,these systems lack the ability that multiple users deal with same data at the same time.Also,they cannot solve the concurrent conflict.So it is not suitable to apply these systems directly in the intelligent traffic management and control platform which has high concurrency.In view of the above problems,this paper proposes a method which processes concurrency conflicts capability by using concurrency control technology.At the same time,some data formats have been changed in SCATS system to be integrated into the intelligent traffic management and control platform according to the specific needs of the domestic traffic management departments.In addition,the SCATS is improved by using the technology of the thread pool and message queue,which makes it have a high response rate,so that it can be applied to the domestic traffic environment better.This paper has carried on the thorough research of signal control system,expounds the design process of the system,and introduces the contents of signal control system research background,key technology,requirement analysis,system design,system implementation and system testing.Using the Spring MVC framework,combined with concurrency control technology,message queue and thread pool technology,Author complete a high concurrency,fast response speed,strong processing ability signal control system based on the SCATS system.The simulation test results show that the module has good concurrency control ability,and the response speed is up to the standard.
