In order to further improve the ability of reconnaissance and counterreconnaissance, stealth and anti-stealth for the targets in the ocean, and the ability of ocean control. We have to strengthen the research of composite electromagnetic scattering from vessel on sea surface. In actual ocean battlefield, vessels appear mostly under vessel-formation, but the current research are mostly about the composite electromagnetic scattering between the single vessel and rough sea surface. There is few research result of the composite electromagnetic scattering from vessel-formation on rough sea surface. This paper is supported by The National Natural Science Foundation of China(5130726):Analysis of Electromagnetic Scattering for Moving Targets on the Random Rough Sea Surface, and mainly studies on the composite electromagnetic scattering characteristics from two-dimensional (2D) vessel and vessel-formation on one-dimensional (ID) rough sea surface. And the research work includes the following aspects:1. Establish the 1D and 2D random rough surface based on the monte-carlo modeling method. Put forward and calculate the equivalent root-mean-square height and equivalent correlation length of 1D rough surface. Establish 1D rough sea surface based on the PM spectrum and JONSWAP spectrum, and use wind speed and the equivalent parameters to analyze the characteristics of these two kinds of sea surface.2. Take the two scale method (TSM) to study the electromagnetic scattering characteristics of 1D rough sea surface, and compare the results of numerical calculation and experimental data to identify the effectiveness of TSM. Use Method of Moments (MOM) to calculate the the bistaticscattering coefficient of 1D rough sea surface under a variety of parameters, and summarize the electromagnetic scattering characteristics and rules.3. Use the MOM to analyze the composite electromagnetic scattering from 2D vessel on 1D sea surface. Deduce the complete integral equation and the matrix equation, and scattering coefficient expression of VV polarization and HH polarization condition. Calculate the composite scattering coefficient under various conditions and to analyze the results and make a summary. Analyze the composite electromagnetic scattering from 2D vessel-formation on 1D rough sea surface of VV polarization by the MOM. Give the unified expression of integral equation and the matrix equation and block. Calculate, analyze and summarize the results of composite scattering from 2D vessel-formation on 1D rough sea surface under various conditions.4. Take the finite difference time domain (FDTD) method to study the composite electromagnetic scattering from 2D vessel-formation on 1D rough sea surface. Establish the composite electromagnetic scattering model on finite difference time domain method and divide it. Deduce the iterative expression of electromagnetic field with UPML boundary and scattering coefficient after near and far field extrapolation. Calculate the scattering coefficient in various conditions. Compare the results of the MOM and the FDTD to identify the validity of the FDTD method and summarize the scattering characteristics and rules with different parameters. The above work implements the research of composite electromagnetic scattering from 2D vessel-formation on 1D rough sea surface, enriches the research achievements and acquires the composite electromagnetic scattering characteristics. The results are valuable for the application of reconnaissance and counterreconnaissance and related field.
