Currently, fiber optic gyro is widely got attention in many fields, though its beginning is rather late, but is rapidly developed,and has replaced the traditional mechanical rotor gyroscope in many areas,becoming one of the indispensable sensitive device in the areas of INS. But with the continuous improvement of FOG accuracy and stability, many internal or external factors also restrict the improvement of the accuracy of FOG One of the key factors that hinders accuracy of FOG is exist of internal noise, which makes the noise reduction technology become a hot research field of fiber optic gyro, the world's few countries have developed several methods of noise reduction, and get a wide range of applications, but there are a lot of improvements,and need deeper analysis and research for noise, on the basis of a particular model FOG noise analysis, the paper design a method of noise subtraction, and proposes a delay feedback control algorithm. Using this method to do experiment of noise reduction for a model FOG and analyse the experimental results. The main contents are the following:Firstly, Analyse the interferometric fiber optic gyro noise, introduce several common sources of error and their suppression techniques and methods and focuse on three main noise ,that is shot noise, thermal noise, intensity noise, based on analysis of SNR of optical path noise, it can conclude that the relative intensity noise is the main sources of noise.Secondly, Establishe noise model and simulates, analyse the relationship between system input noise and gyro output; Introduces two main methods of noise suppression and analyze their respective advantages and disadvantages, finally adoptes the method of noise subtraction; Introduce two algorithms of denoise , and select adaptive filtering algorithm to deal with the noise.Thirdly, Through detailed analysis of noise reduction program, choose the appropriate components to complete the hardware design of circuit system,propose a delayed feedback control algorithm and do study in detail.Lastly, Complete several related experiments and verify the feasibility of the noise subtraction, use the board and algorithm to complete the experiment of noise suppression and use the Allan variance to assess the effect of noise suppression on FOG output.
