Power Line Carrier technology which use power line as the data transmission medium has been widely used in the engineering. However, as the medium of data transmission,power line carrier channel has complex channel characteristic and hugely signal attenuation and many other characteristics which affected the signal transmission. This thesis aims to study the characteristics of power line carrier channel, setting up a power line carrier communication system which has the strong anti-jamming ability and high data transmission accuracy.Firstly, the power line carrier communication system overall scheme in this dissertation has been determined by this dissertation. The Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) technology which has strong anti-jamming ability and high transmission rate has been chosen as the modulation and demodulation scheme in power line carrier communication system. And then, the power line carrier communication module has been completed based on MAX2991 chip, DSP28069 chip and PHP database. Therefore,through power line carrier communication module, data acquisition module and web database module coordination work, multiple nodes communication has been completed.Secondly, the background noise characteristics and the attenuation characteristics of the coaxial cable and multi-core cable have been studied in this dissertation. The bit error rate of the two cables under different OFDM signal frequencies and different channel lengths also have been compared. In addition, it can be concluded that coaxial cable is more suitable than multi-core cable as power line carrier communication channel.Finally, the experiment for pulse data acquisition has been done by using the multiple nodes power line carrier communication network. In addition, pulse data and pressure data acquisition experiments have been finished by the carrier communication module, data acquisition module and web server module coordination work. Then, through establishing the Web database which has favorable scalability, the pulse data efficiency and favorable data interaction has been achieved.
