The Design And Development Of Community Correction System

Community correction is a way of execution opposite to prison correction.It is a non-confinement penalty enforcement activity which refers to putting criminals according with lawful condition in a community in order to correct their criminal psychology and bad behavior habits with the help of relevant departments and social forces so that they can successfully return to the society.With the growing number of people who need correction,the correction staffs are facing an increasing workload.So it is obviously impossible for them to complete their work only by using traditional pattern of manual processing.As a result,the design and development of community correction system which makes full use of modern information technology has become an essencial research subject.In this paper,the author first explains community correction from aspects of definition,development situation at home and abroad,and its necessity.Combining with the demands of community correction business and design experience from other profession software,the auther designs a method to realize monitoring to people who need correction based on electronic wristband technology.Community correction based on electronic wristband technology needs to achieve real-time positioning technology and biometric identification technology.First of all,the author analyzes the mainstream positioning technology and positioning algorithm.Having considered characteristics and comparative advantages,the author finally selects the combination of GPS positioning and LBS positioning to achieve positioning function.Then with the study and implementation of biological identification technology and recognition algorithm,the author selects biological information recognition technology based on voiceprint according to limited power and computation ability of specific electronic wristband.After the investigation of customers' needs and a careful analysis of relevant rules of the country,the author gives a detailed design of the system hierarchical structure and network topology and divides the system into several main modules,each of which has its function to be realized.Meanwhile,the author also expounds the design principles as well as design objectives and finally exploits the management system of community correction taking advantage of positioning technology and biological identity recognition technology.In the process of following application,the system has been generally well received by correction staffs and people that need correction.This paper proposes a community correction management system based on electronic wristband technology to solve the problems of electronic wristband real-time positioning and remote biometric identification,which provides both a new idea and a method for community correction as well as the design of community correction management system.
