In the increasingly complex environment of Internet applications and ecosystems,developers use mashup related technologies to develop and deploy their applications to the market by combining various types of services and data sources in a fast and efficient way.Mashup applications have been widespreadly accepted for their magni-tude advantages in efficiency,flexibility and agility.Except for related researchs and applications in service discovery,matching and composition,IT organizations and re-searchers are generally aware of mashup 's further impact in business and start to use various strategies to coordinate related technical,business and economic goals.This paper lays its foundation on the Mashup Lightweight Development Process model(LDP)to support the analysis of mashup development phases,the relation-ships between roles,the coupling between services,and the classification of the factors including both production and market enviroment involved in decision-making activ-ities.Then we use Model-Driven Architecture related methodologies to design and implement a development strategy simulation and analysis tool for mashup develop-ment,namely MashupSim.Finally,through the illustrations in parameter setting,simulation observation and strategy verification,this paper shows the flow of strategy development and simulation,and confirms the correctness of functionality.This paper firstly introduces mashup related process,role and attribute models,and a general mashup product,economic and market environment.Then based on the automata theory,the mashup design strategy simulation system's foundation and key problems in state transition,role association and decision basis is declared.This paper then introduces the design and implementation of MashupSim,a Python-based strategy simulation system.This paper consequently discusses parameter settings for mashup simulation to observe outputs in aspects such as user satisfaction.An experi-ment with same sample but different strategics is conducted to support overall analysis for different effects.Finally,the analysis,design and implementation of MashupSim are furtherly summarized and discussed.
