The pipeline equipments are used to transport the required natural gas,gasoline,oil and so on in the real life of mankind,some of the pipeline equipments is open-air,some of the pipeline equipments is buried,some of the pipeline equipments is in the ocean and so on in different environments,but most of the pipeline equipments in the world is inside the soil,the resulting geometric deformation of the pipeline will make the pipeline equipment in the oil and gas resistance to become larger,and thus make the oil and gas transmission time longer,to increase the consumption of other energy is increased to make the normal transport of oil and gas pipeline to protect people in their daily lives on the normal needs of oil and gas.If the precise information of the geometric deformation of the pipeline is collected,the hidden dangers of the pipeline in the soil can be avoided.If the pipeline is damaged after the operation,it can be compared with the information previously used to detect the geometric deformation of the new pipeline,there is a serious phenomenon of pipeline geometric deformation,the serious phenomenon can be accurate and rapid protection and maintenance,it is also the main method for the formulation of new pipelines and the development of equipment construction measures.The safe operation of oil and gas pipelines for human beings to provide the necessary energy is the application of pipeline inspection technology,it is necessary to make a security check to collect the required data before using the new pipeline for the oil and gas.,geometrical deformation detection of pipeline geometric data for the pipeline provides the required valid data for the safe operation of the later pipeline.Aiming at the problem of the safe operation of the pipeline is caused by pipeline geometry deformation,a method for detection and identification of geometric deformation of pipeline based on laser imaging is proposed,the technology of laser imaging detection and the principle of pipeline geometry deformation are studied.Using a power device with an image acquisition unit enters into the interior of the pipeline obtaining image information of laser ring on the inner wall of pipeline in real time,using MATLAB image processing software,the image of the laser ring is processed by image grayscale and image binary,the image is filtered and denoised by canny edge extraction algorithm,using SZ-FG(clock segmentation)algorithm analyses ellipses and the pixels of image,draw pipeline geometrical position and size information.The experimental results show that the laser ring image is processed by the clock segmentation algorithm.According to the algorithm,the geometric characteristics of the pipeline oval size and the size of the concave and convex pipeline are obtained.Experimental results show that this method can effectively get the geometric deformation and deformation of pipeline position and calculate the geometric characteristics,and without coupling agent,strong anti-interference ability,it provides a new method to detect the geometric deformation of pipeline.
