The Research Of The Intelligent Home Monitor

In recent years,the domestic aging trend is becoming more and more severe,which inevitably turns providing for the aged parents into one of the main concerns for younger generation.Meanwhile,the implementation of two-child policy also encourages more families willing to raise the second child.As a result,safety care for the elderly and children are surely becoming one social spotlight with wide attention.Therefore,the passage focuses on enabling young generation to be aware of the l iving situation of elders and children in home simutaneously through remote control.The study is based on the embedded Linux operating system,and put forward the overall design of the home intelligent monitor.Using ARM chip embedded platform as the system main control module,Development of related application modules based on current related technologies,which is Internet technology,wireless communication technology,digital video monitoring technology,application development module.The related technology and each module is formed by the combination of intelligent user needs to meet the family care system.At the same time,Video surveillance featuring in intuitive visualization owns the outstanding advantage in home nursing and the families are pursuing more convenient appearance and practicality.Traditional video monitoring for home care,however,is usually connected in the wired way,which counts against the networking and intelligent control.From this point of view,traditional video monitoring is not only difficult to realize the purpose of remote wireless intelligent nursing,but also highly inconvenient for the installation.The designed system employs the ARM926EJ-S processor,peripheral hardware circuit and interfaces.Thesoftware development platform,a detailed study has been done on the advantage of character device driver.An embedded web server is specially developed for the designed system,and at the same time,the system develops the control information of each virtual device and realizes the intelligent linkage function through the configuration file mode.Finally,the whole system was tested.The test results are consistent with the overall designgoals,which guarantees the reliability of the whole system characterized by operation simplicity,high cost performance,easy maintenance and suitability for home nurse.
