The Direction-of-Arrival(DOA)estimation is one of the most important fields in array signal processing.At the beginning,the research on array signal is mostly based on the scalar sensor.Not long after,It is found that the polarization array can obtain much more information than the scalar sensor.So the problem of DOA estimation based on polarization array signal get a great deal of attention.But at that time,most of the research was based on the assumption of Gauss noise.Although Gauss distribution is of great significance,there are only a few random processes in the real environment which can satisfy the definition of the Gauss distribution.In most cases,It is found that there is not only the Gauss noise,but also a kind of impact noise.The impact noise is the alpha noise.As the alpha noise dose not have finite second-order moments,the conventional algorithms are weakened.In order to suppress the alpha noise,a series of array signal DOA estimation methods based on fractional lower order moments are proposed.Although this kind of method can suppress the noise,but when dealing with interference signal which has the same frequency will become weak.In order to solve the above problems,we do a lot of research on the fractional lower order cyclic correlation method.In this paper,two algorithms are proposed.One of them is the ESPRIT based on the fractional lower order cyclic correlation.the other is the TLS-ESPRIT based on the fractional lower order cyclic correlation.In this paper,firstly,the noise and Gauss noise are suppressed by using the fractional correlation method.Secondly,the interference signal with the same frequency of the signal is inhibition.At last,the DOA and polarization parameters are estimated by using the classical DOA estimation such as the ESPRIT and the TLS-ESPRIT.In this paper,the proposed method is applied to a single electromagnetic vector sensor,a linearly polarized array,and an arbitrary polarization array.It fully verify that the method is not limited by the polarization array geometry.Finally,the simulation results show that the proposed method is effective in noise suppression and accurate DOA estimation performance.
