With the rapid development of computer and network technology,the traditional media was increasingly replaced by digital media.There is no doubt that digital multimedia technology makes our life more and more convenient,however it brings many potential security problems.Such as copyright protection,unauthorized intrusion and malicious tempering,etc.The proposed video information hiding technology eliminates some security risks of the digital multimedia to some extends.Meanwhile it opens up new directions in many fields,such as error recovery(resilient),multimedia label,secret communication,and so on.However with the development of video information hiding technology,we found that the common information hiding technology can not be applied very well in some special field.In order to improve the performance of the video information hiding technology in these areas,reversible video information hiding technology is presented by academic researchers.This technology can make up for the defect of video information hiding in some fields.Due to the wide application of H.264/AVC video coding standards in digital video field,some research works based on H.264/AVC have been done in this thesis.(1)In view of the entropy coding of H.264/AVC,a reversible information hiding algorithm with low bit-rate growth in compressed-domain videos via adaptive hybrid coding is proposed in this thesis.This thesis designs a hybrid coding algorithm,which makes full use of the CAVLC entropy coding characteristic of H.264/AVC video coding standard,combining with the traditional histogram translation and matrix coding algorithm.For the trailing and non-trailing coefficients of 4 x 4 block in P frame,the histogram translation and the mixed-coding algorithm are used to embed the secret information,respectively.The using of hybrid coding in trailing ones makes it possible to embed 4 bits secret data by modifying one coefficient.It reduces the modifier under the embedding capacity per unit,makes the algorithm have a low bit-rate growth with the same hiding capacity,and improves the embedded video quality.(2)In this thesis,based on the characteristics of CAVLC entropy coding,a high capacity reversible video information hiding algorithm which is suitable for tailing coefficient is designed by considering the distribution characteristics of the quantized coefficients of DCT.The algorithm can achieve multiple embedding in trailing coefficients of 44 block,improve the embedding capacity of the algorithm greatly,and ensure the bit rate performance of the secret video,which has certain advantages compared with the existing algorithm.
