With the continuous development of the traditional multi-radar detection level fusion, its performance has gradually become a bottleneck. At present, the coast radar stations are able to collect raw measurement signals through the optical fiber interconnection. The increase of the information granularity can improve the detection performance, and the existing multi-radar joint detection algorithms evolve to change from detection level fusion to signal level fusion. Therefore, the distributed and centralized multi-radar detection modes are used to study the fusion algorithm of shore-based multi-radar detection,so that the detection performance can be improved effectively.Specific research work includes two parts:(1)A multi-radar coherent CFAR target detection algorithm is proposed. The radars transmit the orthogonal waveforms to suppress the clutter and interference and obtain a larger radar echo signal to noise ratio simutaneously, and then multi-radar signal-level CFAR detection method is presented.Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm has higher detection performance than traditional “OR” fusion detection algorithms.(2)A detection fusion algorithm based on multi-radar signal level fusion is proposed by using the fact that the correlation between sea clutter and radar echo signals is low.First, the observed values of each radar are sorted according to the sampling time, and then the high-order cross cumulant is calculated according to the pulse signal at the corresponding time. Finally, the likelihood ratio test is calculated on the correlation domain.Compared with the traditional multi-radar detection level fusion algorithm, this algorithm makes full use of the original radar observation signals, and improves the detection performance.
