The Research Of H Type Index Based On The Adjustment Of Correlation Coefficient

H index has received widespread attention since it was put forward in 2005,and has been widely used due to its simplicity and effectiveness.With the continuous development of applications,people made some inprovements according to the practical problems encountered in application.As traditional h index is established on the basis of CI(cited frequency),multiple h type index was established in order to fully reflect the paper's influential power,however,in the process of obtaining the index,the correlation among the indicators which directly related to the impact of the papers and the results of the multiple h type index,need to be studied.First of all,this paper discusses the reasonable measuring methods through studying the distribution status of indicators' data,and adjusts the correlation measurement method in the acquisition process of multiple h index,then adjusts the calculation of the papers' influence on the basis of the change of correlation coefficient,proposes a thought on how to carry out PCA(principal component analysis)based on the Spearman Rank correlation coefficient,and analyse the rationality of this thought from the aspects of theory and geometry.Furthermore,according to the comprehensive influence scores obtained from the papers,we can get the multiple h type index with the correlation coefficient adjusted according to the acquisition process of the traditional h index.Then tests the rationality of the index,find that there is a high correlation between the multiple h type index with the correlation coefficient adjusted and the h index.Then tests the correlation of the h type index before and after the correlation coefficient adjusted,find that there is a high correlation between them,which shows that the multiple h type index with the correlation coefficient adjusted is feasible.At last,investigates the evaluation results of the multiple h type index with the correlation coefficient adjusted and h index and the traditional h type index under the two categories of scholars and journals.
