Design And Inplementation For Video And Audio Automated Testing Tool Based On The Gstreamer

In recent years,with the rapid development of broadband network construction and mobile Internet technology,video technology has been widely used in remote conference,health care,education,live and other industries,which is closely related to people's life.Therefore,it is very important to study the audio and video quality assessment technology in the process of communication.In order to solve the problem of low efficiency in the actual project testing process,we propose an audio and video automated testing tool instead of terminal equipment to send and receive stream.And we also provide an objective assessment method of audio and video quality.The main work of this thesis is as follows:(1)Using the framework of Gstreamer to build the server's sender and receiver modules,and realize the functions of reading and writing audio and video files;encoding and decoding audio and video streams;RTP packing,unpacking and transporting of streaming media data.(2)From three dimensions of the service quality(QoS)?the peak signal to noise ratio(PSNR)and the structural similarity(SSIM)to comprehensive assess the video quality,which improved the result error caused by single evaluation in the past.(3)Using the algorithm named perceptual evaluation of audio quality(PEAQ)proposed by International Telecommunication Union(ITU)to make an objective assessment of audio quality.According to the research contents mentioned above,we design a detailed test program.The test results show that the tool can effectively transfer streaming audio and video data,it will not be lost frames and garbled when the network in good condition.It can also effectively distinguish the audio and vido quality.The tool.has also been applied to the company's actual projects,and has been vigorously promoted.
