Multiple-Input Multiple-Output(MIMO)radar is a kind of new radar system that combined MIMO technology with radar system.The classical MIMO radar target location algorithm is mostly studied in the background of Gaussian noise,but the noise in the actual radar system often has a strong impulsive,and the statistical properties have deviated from the Gaussian distribution,so the wider application of alpha-stable distribution model is used to distribute impulsive noise.Alpha-stable distribution does not have second-order statistics(SOS),which results in noticeable degradation of the performance of target location algorithms based on the SOS,therefore,this thesis studies target location algorithm for the MIMO radar in alpha-stable distribution impulsive noise environment,the main works of this thesis are summarized as follows:Firstly,the target angle estimation algorithm for monostatic MIMO radar in alpha-stable distribution impulsive noise environment is investigated.Because of the problem of the target angle estimation algorithm of MIMO radar based on the fractional lower order moment(FLOM)that needs to know impulse noise prior knowledge and estimation performance degradation is serious in strong impulsive noise(?<1),this thesis uses matched filtering data of two robust correlation matrix:a correlation matrix based on generalized correntropy-analogous statistics(GCAS)and a correlation matrix based on the a nonlinear compress core function(NCCF).Then the two algorithms of target angle estimation based on GCAS and NCCF in monostatic MIMO radar are presented.Stimulation results show that the performance of the proposed two algorithms is superior to the two algorithms based on the SOS and the FLOM in impulsive noise conditions,and do not need to know impulsive noise prior knowledge.Secondly,the direction of departure(DOD)and the direction of arrival(DOA)estimation algorithm for bistatic MIMO radar in alpha-stable distribution impulsive noise environment is studied.The rotational invariance relationships are constructed respectively based on the property of the transmitter array and the receiver array.Then the two algorithms of DOD and DOA estimation based on GCAS and NCCF in bistatic MIMO radar are proposed.Stimulation results show that the performance of the two algorithms is superior to the two algorithms based on the SOS and the FLOM.Finally,due to the target is generally movement in the actual radar system,the problem of tracking the angle of targets for bistatic MIMO radar in alpha-stable distribution impulsive noise is addressed.According to the space symbol function(SSF)preprocessing and the maximum correntropy criterion(MCC),two improved projection approximation subspace target angle tracking algorithms are put forword,which are the projection approximation subspace tracking algorithm based on SSF and the projection approximation subspace tracking algorithm based on MCC.Stimulation results verify that the two algorithms can complete the angle of the moving target tracking,and the tracking performance is better than the basic projection approximation subspace tracking algorithm in alpha-stable distribution impulsive noise.
