With the rapid development of modern shipping industry,the situation of water traffic becomes more and more serious,and the problem of ship safety navigation becomes more and more prominent,so the ship tracking performance is more demanding,especially the stable tracking of maneuvering target.In order to improve the tracking stability and accuracy of maneuvering target tracking,a new model of AR(Auto-regression)model is used to study the radar target tracking algorithm in this paper.Firstly,the basic principle of maneuvering target tracking and the commonly used target motion models are summarized in this paper.Then the traditional Calman filtering algorithm and interacting multiple model(IMM)tracking algorithm is analyzed.This paper designing a fast and slow turn of the simulated ship motion scene,through the Calman filter based on single model of CV and CA tracking algorithm and IMM algorithm simulation in it to verify the validity of the theoretical analysis in this chapter.Secondly,A Calman filter algorithm based on switching of AR model(S-AR-KF)is proposed.At first,the AR model is introduced and applied to track target,and focusing on the construction process and solving method of it.The study shows that the first order AR model can describe the uniform motion,and the two order AR model can describe the uniform acceleration motion.In addition,the AR model coefficient vector can also use additional degrees of freedom to filter noise,which belonging to an adaptive state model.And then through the non-maneuvering scene,simulation analysis AR model to obtain the optimal coefficients,and the comparison of one order of AR-KF algorithm and the traditional CV-KF algorithm to verify its superiority.Then,in the mobile scene,S-AR-KF algorithm and traditional IMM algorithm are compared and analyzed,summarized the advantages and limitations of the proposed algorithm.Finally,in order to the problem of maneuvering target tracking,the IMM algorithm based on AR model(AR-IMM)is analyzed in this paper,including the parameter setting of the model and the steps of the AR-IMM algorithm.Through AR-IMM algorithm and traditional IMM algorithm simulation in the same ship maneuvering scene,the result shows that AR-IMM algorithm demonstrates better tracking performance.In addition,the tracking performance advantage is more obvious when the target maneuverability is strong.Because of the increasing number of models leads to the problem of computation increases and the model selection,a model set switching of the interactive multiple model algorithm(S-IMM)is introduced.Based on this,an improved interacting multiple model algorithm based on switching of AR model(IS-AR-IMM)is proposed in this paper.In the same ship maneuvering scene,simulation result shows that the tracking advantages is more obvious by comparing the IS-AR-IMM algorithm with the AR-IMM algorithm,which verifying the feasibility and superiority of IS-AR-IMM algorithm.
