Recently,with the fast development of cloud computing,the Platform-as-a-Service is also going to be more mature gradually.PaaS provides a running environment that can deploys and manages software applications,allowing developers to focus on coding and use our PaaS system to build a software runtime environment transparently to achieve sustained and stable service.The previous PaaS provides virtual machines for users by using virtualization method,but the idea of vm based on the host's system,which means that providing services to all developers across the whole company will cost much resources.While containers can solve this problem.Therefore,this Feature Pool monitoring and management system based-on Docker Container can provide a functional testing platform for all developers.By the use of Docker Container and the container's easy to create and transplant features,it greatly simplifies the company's internal resource consumption,as well as improves efficiency.Developers can use this system to create new testing environments that are identical to the online application once new features were added to it.This system can automatically and transparently repair the machines for users,ensuring the normal status of all applications.This system is based on B/S architecture,using the Jersey RESTful framework,Quartz Scheduler and Java Concurrent technology to get real-time task scheduling.By the use of cron timing mechanism,it can automatically scan the whole system and transparently repair defective machines.It ensures normal operations of the system as well as the management of the application.This paper describes how to use container technology to build up a PaaS platform in order to provide stable testing feature pools for developers.It is an attempt for PaaS on container technology.This paper first introduces the background and development of the project,then introduces the technology and its characteristics used in the project,then carries on the detailed requirement analysis to the project.On this basis,it elaborates the design of the system.The main modules are described in detail implementation,and finally the project work is summarized and forecasted.
