In recent years,deformation simulation technology has been developing rapidly and has become a hotspot in the field of virtual simulation.It has been widely used in animation,design and game.The authenticity of the scene quite largely due to accurate collision detection and response.As a very representative deformation of a large number of geometric elements,the fabric is easily deformed,so that the self-collision detection of the cloth often consumes a lot of time resources.In a deformation model such as a cloth,it is difficult to determine in real time whether the fabric collides with itself.For this reason,the deformation of the body from the collision detection has become a technical problem in the field of collision detection.In this paper,we focus on the self-collision detection problem of the deformed body in the virtual simulation.The main contents are as follows: firstly,the R-Sphere bounding ball is used for the primary detection from the collision,and the large-scale collision ball is eliminated.A collision detection algorithm for spanning Tree and PSO.At the same time,in order to accurately detect the deformation of the deformed body from the collision,the surface curvature criterion and the hierarchical normal cone are introduced in the structure of the sphere,and the area of the collision is quickly removed by the simple operation to improve the efficiency of the collision detection.Secondly,in order to accurately detect the intersection of geometric elements,and then hit the collision of the ball to carry out detailed collision detection,through the common point / common edge filter and primitive bounding box to detect intersecting elements.Finally,the topology-based deformation self-collision detection system is designed and implemented.The system is divided into fabric modelmodule,numerical integration model module,collision detection and response module,scene rendering module,and multi-level collision detection algorithm.The Virtual Simulation Process of Collision Detection.Based on the experimental verification of R-Sphere bounding box and hybrid collision detection algorithm,it is proved that the multi-layer hybrid collision detection algorithm based on topology can detect and deal with the self-collision situation between fabrics.
