With the development of technology such as Internet of things,the number of mobile terminals increased significantly.The demand for data grows fast with the use of smart phones.The current mobile communication technology has been difficult to meet the current requirements of the community for communications services.The fifth generation of mobile communication systems(5G)proposed by Europe in 2013,will greatly improves the performance of today's communications systems to meet the needs of future people.The measurement and propagation characteristics of the wireless channel are critical to the establishment of a new generation of mobile communication systems.But now more mature commercial channel test platform can not be more than 6GHz channel to test the channel.Based on the LabVIEW software and PXI bus technology,this paper developed a measurement platform for high frequency band channel with the frequency domain test scheme.According to the performance of the core equipment PXI modular vector network analyzer,the test frequency band is up to 26.5GHz.The use of virtual instrument technology to test can improve the efficiency of the test,a higher degree of automation,reducing the error caused by human factors.PXI equipment is highly integrated,taking up less space.It only need a PXI chassis and related functions of the module to complete the system testing,data collection and so on.This article uses the Lab VIEW software not only completed the preparation of test software,but also developed theunderlying driver,such as instrument control and I / O interface.The test platform measures the propagation characteristics of the indoor corridor environment in the 15 GHz band,with a test bandwidth of 200 MHz.The data of the test are processed and analyzed by Matlab software,and the model of the relevant channel is established.
