In 21 st century, the pattern of war is a joint operation system which is in the center of network and information. In order to realize the goal that making decision earlier, faster and better than enemy,it is needed to realize precise acquisition, efficient control and comprehensive use of intelligence information that the enemy,I,friends and other forces' deployment of weapons and equipment and the battlefield environment within the scope of battlefield space,etc.Multi-source information integration is the premise of the sharing and exchange of battlefield information. At present, operational object, operational background and communication mode of all the services and arms is different. There is a widespread phenomenon of "information chimney" between the information control system of arms.Based on the above analysis, the paper will study the research on multi-source information integration technology for joint operations. The main content of this paper is as follows:(1)Construction of joint battlefield information domain ontology model. This part puts forward a method of constructing the model of joint battlefield ontology based on Semantic Web and ontology technology.First,it is designed and completed that the prototype of class, attribute and hierarchical relationship in the field of joint battlefield combined with the characteristics of battlefield intelligence information in the field of military.Secondly, using Protégé tool to construct the domain ontology model of joint battlefield intelligence information, describing the relationship between the elements of various joint battlefield information through the OWL language. The last,a simple domain ontology example of battlefield information is constructed.(2)A general scheme of multi-source information integration for joint operations is designed.Firstly, the structured,semi-structured and unstructured information of different sources is processed by semantic Web technology, and converted to common data model(RDF,Resource Description Framework).Secondly, the measure index and calculation model of ontology alignment are put forward. At last, research on the autonomous association of battlefield information based on semantic alignment is processed. On the basis of the common knowledge model of the information domain ontology,a variety of RDF information is described by the model of ontology alignment establishing the relation between different lexical sets andrealizing the integration of massive heterogeneous battlefield information.(3)A method of converting relational database(structured information)into RDF based on D2 RQ is proposed.A method of extracting and converting Web information(semi-structure information)to RDF based on HTML structure is proposed.A method is proposed to convert the image data(unstructured information)into RDF.Finally, using a ontology alignment method based on WordNet aligns multi-source ontology and the joint battlefield information domain ontology, realizing the integration of massive heterogeneous battlefield information.(4)Prototype software platform for multi-source information integration for joint operations. In the Eclipse integrated development environment,a prototype software platform of battlefield information integration for joint operations is realized. The software platform has the functions of database connection,RDB2 RDF,Web information extraction, image semantic annotation and ontology alignment. It also verifies the feasibility of the multi source information integration scheme proposed in this paper, realizing the integration of massive heterogeneous battlefield information.
