In recent years, the global spectrum resources is extremely short, which caused a certain communication development bottleneck? This is mainly caused by two reasons:First, spectrum resources are allocated in accordance with a certain frequency band, not allocated spectrum band is very small.Second, the allocated spectrum band can not be well used, which caused a great waste of spectrum resources. For this reason, cognitive radio technology has been proposed to improve the utilization of spectrum resources.Spectrum sensing is an important means of cognitive radio technology. Its main idea is that the unauthorized user can access the free band that has been assigned to the authorized user by detecting, thereby improving the utilization of spectrum resources. At present, spectrum sensing based on single-user single-antenna research has been very deep, with the emergence of multi-antenna system,it is necessary to propose a spectrum sensing method which is simple and reliable for multi-antenna system. In order to solve the above problems, the main purpose of this paper is to study the spectrum sensing technology of single-user in multi-antenna environment.First of all,First, the paper focuses on three basic methods of spectrum sensing:energy detection, matched filter detection and cyclostationary feature detection.and then improve cyclostationary feature detection to the second-order cyclic statistic detection to improve the test results.Secondly, the paper use the second-order cyclic statistic detection method in the multi-antenna environment. In order to reduce the computational strength and complexity of the algorithm,I combined the second-order cyclic statistic detection with the antenna combining technique:Maximum Ratio Combing(MRC),to improve detection method. So as to obtain the spectrum—sensing metihod which is simple and reliable for multi-antenna system.
